Terms & Conditions
Please read carefully. If you make a booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
A provisional booking will be held for 7 days until the deposit is received.
Your booking will then be confirmed by email.
Both cottages require a £100 non-refundable deposit.
The balance is due 4 weeks before your stay. No reminder will be sent.
Payments can be made by cheque (Payable to Mrs K Shaw) or bank transfer.
In case of cancellation, I shall do all I can to re-let the cottage, if this is possible I shall return the balance. However if I am unable to re-let the cottage, the full rent will be forfeited. Holiday cancellation insurance is recommended.
Unless otherwise arranged the arrival time is 3.00pm and the departure time is 10.00am.
The cottages are both Non-smoking areas.
All bed linen and towels are provided.
Fuel is included, however if extra wood/coal is required this may incur a small additional charge.
A cot is available however linen is not provided. This should be noted at time of booking.
Well behaved dogs are welcome however you are responsible for them at all times and you must ensure that:
- They are kept under control at all times due to livestock on the farm.
- They stay off the furniture.
- You clean up behind them inside and out.
Please let us know about any damage or breakages as soon as possible. We do understand about life’s little accidents but ultimately you are responsible for the property and its contacts during the period of your stay. We will always try to put things right with the least cost and inconvenience to you.
Please note the cottages are thoroughly cleaned between lets, but time is very limited so part of this agreement is your commitment to leave the cottage as clean and tidy as you found it. This is always greatly appreciated.
